quotes and because grip shift hardly ever breaks
skierdud89 commented under SramMedia's blog ( Feb 21, 2012 at 22:12 )
quotes no SRAM does not make an XO front shifter, and yes ODI is one of the few manufactures that makes a lock on grip for grip shifters

quotes @DHshredder5, your original argument said nothing about the XO shifters you simply made a blanket statement about cheap grip shifts
skierdud89 commented under SramMedia's blog ( Feb 20, 2012 at 7:22 )
quotes I'm sure it wasn't that easy to design seeing as how with a 10 speed system you pull less cable per shift than a 9spd system and so the indents inside the housing have to be closer and they probably had to think of a way to better keep it in gear so that it wouldn't jump indents and shift gears when you barely touch it. Don't forget guys this is XO we're talking about not X5. Sram is only going to release a new product if it works the way we need it to. I wish they would tell us the differences so we can try to understand the insane price difference from the 9spd XO because at the moment there is no way I will run 10spd grip shift

quotes Decent rebuttal Daemongrad however yes you can go from 1st to 9th or vise versa in one twist with the XO grip shift People need to realize that these grip shifts are NOTHING like the grip shifts on $400 and under bikes.

quotes hahah well said AdmanMTB All I can say to callumm is try it before you blindly join all the haters

quotes well said joppy! And I would have to agree with konarider112 as well So far I haven't had any misshifts with my grip shifts that I can remember.
skierdud89 commented under SramMedia's blog ( Feb 20, 2012 at 3:27 )
quotes I used to be a hater until I tried the previous model XO grip shift and now I love them! You won't accidentally shift unless your holding on to your bars like a gorilla, however FR may not be the proper application, but for DH never once mis-shifted. @DHshredder5: you obviously have never seen, worked on or even seen an XO grip shift because they shift much more precise than most trigger shifters on the market. Sram doesn't put "XO" on just any product. People have been winning races on with these while you were still on training wheels, Go try it before you get on the "hater bus"

quotes Just buy used man, you find killer deals on here and on e bay everyday! I haven't bought a new bike in 4 years and even then it was only a BMX frame.
